Wholeseters are pockets for your hips. Keep your hands free while dancing, camping, hiking, hooping, fire spinning, holding the babies, riding bikes, doing yoga or simply because carrying a purse is a hassle on the back and shoulders.
Wholesters are a great way to keep your necessities at your fingertips and safely attached to your person.
I started making utility belts this year. I found that I love wearing them, but couldn’t find JUST the right one for me. SO I set out on a mission to find just the right style. I happened to buy one out of desperation before I had started sewing them. The fabric was very thin, the seams were unfinished, and the product was sewn in another country but only cost me $20.00. The fabric wasn’t color fast and it faded on my clothes when it got wet and the buckles were chunky plastic snap buckles like a back back or child’s car seat, which had a backpacking, hiking flavor that left me feeling “meh”.
I created my own version by tweaking, redesigning with better construction and usability. Picking fabrics that are washable yet stylish. After all, I want to wear this out to parties and social events, it has to be attractive, low profile, stylish, functional and durable. Check out Batty Kitten on Etsy to see what’s available.
